become是英語中的一個常用單詞，意思是成為、變得，表示情況的開始、發(fā)展和結(jié)束的變化，become是系動詞，也可用作及物動詞，還可表示“適宜，合適”。

become的過去分詞

過去分詞是become；過去式became；現(xiàn)在分詞是becoming；第三人稱單數(shù)是becomes。

become用法：

become后接動詞的過去分詞可表示被動或結(jié)果，此時一般不接by短語。

become用作及物動詞時，還可表示“適宜，合適”。

become of只能與疑問代詞what（ever）連用，用于直接或間接疑問句中，表示“變得怎樣”，后接人或有形的'東西，多用于完成時或?qū)頃r。

become是非持續(xù)性動詞，不能與表示一段時間的狀語連用。但可用于完成時態(tài)。

become是系動詞還是實義動詞

become用作連系動詞，意為“成為”，其后可接：

1.名詞

They became great friends.他們成了莫逆之交。

He aims to become a computer expert.他打算當(dāng)一名電腦專家。

She has become a painter of distinction.她成了一名杰出的畫家。

2.形容詞

She became very fond of her.她變得非常喜歡她了。

He soon became angry.他過了一會兒就生氣了。

She has become familiar with the house.她對這房子已變得很熟悉。

I’ve become used to a vegetarian diet.我已習(xí)慣于素食。

3. 過去分詞

They had just become engaged.他們剛剛訂婚。

At last the truth became known to us.我們終于知道了真相。

The room soon became crowded. 房間很快變得擁擠起來。

Jamie was becoming annoyed with me.杰米變得對我不高興起來。

become后面接什么詞性

become后面接形容詞或者名詞，例如：become adult（名詞）；become strong（形容詞）。

用法：

1.用作連系動詞，其后可接名詞、形容詞、過去分詞等作表語：

He became a teacher at （the age of）17.他17歲就當(dāng)了老師。

The weather became warmer.天氣變得暖和起來。

注意：其后接過去分詞時，可表示被動或結(jié)果；但表示被動時，其后一般不接by短語。比如不說：

Soon the room became crowded bystudents.

2.become是終止性動詞，因此要表示“成為…有多長時間”，英語不能將become與表示一段時間的詞或短語連用：

他成為老師有十年了。

正：He became a teacher ten years ago.

正：It’s ten years since he became a teacher.

誤：He has become a teacher for ten years.

3.become之后一般不接不定式表示“逐漸…”（此時可用come/begin＋不定式）：

正：He began [came] to like English.他開始喜歡英語起來。

誤：He became to like English.

正：He became ill yesterday.他昨天病了。

誤：He became to be ill yesterday.

4.用于習(xí)語becomeof,表示“發(fā)生”、“遭遇”等（常與what連用）：

What has become of the girl?這個女孩后來怎樣了？

I don’t know what will become of me if I fail this time.要是我這次不成功，我不知我會怎么樣。
